Who to Call for a Record
Choose the office by record type. The Candler County Jail has no verified public web roster, so current custody is a phone question. A booking sheet or associated photograph is a records-request question. An incident report belongs with the arresting agency, and a case outcome belongs with the court.

Booking Records and Photos
Use the CCSO Records Request form for an existing county-jail booking sheet, associated booking photograph, release entry, or other named record.
Include the person's name, approximate date, arresting agency, and the exact record requested. A request does not guarantee release of a photograph.

Where Each Question Belongs
Start with the narrowest office that can hold the record. Giving a custodian a date and agency helps avoid a name-only match.
- Current county custody: call the jail at 912-685-2291. A failed web search cannot prove release or transfer.
- A booking sheet or photo: use the CCSO records form and ask for the existing record categories separately.
- A Metter incident report: contact the City of Metter Police Department at 805 E. Lillian Street or 912-685-5437. Its page directs dispatch calls to 912-685-2291.
- A Pulaski incident: contact Town Hall at 103 East Railroad Street or 912-685-7617 to confirm the responsible agency. No current separate police records route was verified.
- A court outcome: search Candler Superior and State Court through Georgia Courts E-Access, then ask the Clerk if needed.
- A state-sentenced person: use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender query. GDC records verification is at P.O. Box 1529, Forsyth, GA 31029, 404-656-4661.
- Federal or immigration custody: use the BOP or ICE locator for that agency. A county hold or quarterly number is not an individual custody answer.

CCSO says submitted information is kept confidential, but the reviewed source does not promise anonymity or a reward. Call 911 for an immediate threat. Do not approach someone because of a wanted claim, booking image, or news post.
Questions about a warrant should go to CCSO dispatch, the relevant court, or a lawyer. A public docket is not definitive active-warrant clearance, and a news article cannot replace the issuing court's record.
